Staying Informed

BSVT has a family account portal available 24/7 to update your contact info, access your account balance, make payments and read announcements. Please log in often to read announcements and check your account balance. BSVT also sends important school information and announcements via email. Please be sure we have your most current email address in the online system at all times. If you do not have email, be sure to check the bulletin board by the office for the latest news each time you come to the studio. Texting can be very helpful in the event of last-minute announcements. Please be sure you enter a text number into the online system if you have one. BSVT’s Website and Facebook Page are also informational resources that may be helpful to you.

Performance Hair & MakeUp

Complete performance information and FAQ is given around performance time each year. If it’s your first time with hair and make-up know there are many veteran parents that would be happy to help. This YouTube video on Recital Hair & Makeup may be helpful keeping in mind these small adjustments for our guidelines:

MAKEUP:  Students should wear foundation, pink or red blush, red lipstick, blue eyeshadow on lids and pink on the brow bone, mascara, and liquid eye liner on the top lids and wings. Pre-Ballet and Primary students do not need to worry about eye liner, but must have mascara.  MASCARA TIP: Hold the wand out and have your child blink/flutter several times.
